Adventure into True Self

Mike's designed experience working with a horse in the round pen is so good! From the moment I stepped in the round pen, the horse and Mike reflected what they saw in me. They were honest with me about my blindspots and helped me see areas in my way of thinking and being that could benefit from healthy change. I developed deeper awareness from their reflections but that was just step one. From there Mike was able to read my very needs and encourage me to work through my struggle and to better help Sally, the horse I was working with. I didn't just learn but I physically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually changed. I was in the moment (literally!) able to apply my learning and grow as I practiced how to show up more confidently in leadership (both in myself and with the horse), be more present in my body, and align myself better so my mind didn't get in the way. I love Mike and how warm, welcoming, and honest he is; he's like a human horse - totally himself and speaks when it's time for something to be said. He does not hold back the truth but presents it in a way that allows you to feel safe and heard. This experience encouraged me to step up the plate, face my fears, and grow.
