2025 was a transformational year for Broken Arrow Wranglers.
Through prayer, faith, hard learning, and steady growth, we moved from vision into formation. This year marked a shift—toward a more disciplined, strategic approach to integrating our ranches, developing the future workforce who will run and scale our programs, and aligning with mustang and horse rescues to create the most efficient and effective operation possible.
Along the way, we refined our unique horse experiences—creating space for people to encounter God deep within themselves, while opening up to others as we grow a community of honest, grounded wranglers of true life. We are the outlaws to the world’s systems and patterns that attempt to steal and destroy life. We follow the Way, the Truth and the Life…dying to the world, surrendering our lives, and stepping into God’s purpose and the advancement of His Kingdom here and now…one soul at a time.
IMPACT
SCHOOLS — This year, we coordinated with leaders at Chandler Unified School District, CommonSpirit Health (funding partner), and local ranches, horse owners, trainers, and therapists to plant our first Broken Arrow Outpost dedicated to school districts. Through this outpost, we are actively reaching staff and students who are seeking something more than traditional mental health care. This work isn’t about managing symptoms—it’s about restoring lives, identity, and purpose. We’re adding new wranglers to the Broken Arrow crew and supporting ranches that make this work possible. A huge thank you to all of the team members, counselors, social workers – and leaders at Chief Hill Learning Academy. The foundation that has been built will serve many in the years to come!

VETERANS & FIRST RESPONDERS — some of the most highly trained leaders we have in our communities are experiencing and observing extreme trauma. It is held in the body, and traditional systems for dealing with this just aren’t cutting it. We offer experiential and unique ways of healing – and most importantly…the environment of honesty and trust we create with our round pens and ranches are the refuges and open ranges that get us back to the freedom we fight for. Freedom isn’t something you experience once, it’s something we live out together.
FAMILIES — When a mother, a father…a teacher or a student experiences life change, it impacts everyone around them. Our events for teams, families, and individuals this past year have had a multiplying effect on those we are around.

HORSES — We continue to build relationships and transform the lives of not only people, but the horses we rescue and interact with. Horses that were scheduled for kill pens, mustangs from holding pens at prisons, new adoptions into our programs…you name it…we’re doing it. This is the foundation and gateway into the Broken Arrow way of life that we expose through our experiences.

OUTPOSTS — 2025 was a year of stabilizing our operations and establishing scalable systems that we can now take out to the other ranches we partner with. We added partnerships with some ranches on the outskirts of the valley where full trail-riding destination experiences are being held, and they will be the open range / large acre properties that will be the home for the mustangs we rescue in the future.

SERVICE CO-OP — We continue to collaborate and integrate our solutions with other ranches, orgs (like Equine Connections, The Sixth Day, Firm Foundation, Hoofbeats with Heart and more) as we provide alternative healing service providers to give a holistic approach to mind, body and spirit restoration. See our directory and pray for our “Healer’s Circle” group that will be meeting regularly to find ways to serve those in need, and drive community/Kingdom building.
SUSTAINABILITY — Much of the year was dedicated to establishing financial partnerships that will enable us to function for years to come. We serve those that can’t afford this type of care through the generous donations of individuals and organizations. This year, because of our history of success and impact to communities and culture…we are now securing grants and partnerships with larger funding organizations that allow us to fuel this movement.

We’ve also partnered with professional fundraisers experts to build a realistic, executable plan to fully fund our 2026 operations and expansion. This work is ongoing, but the foundation is solid, and the path forward is clear.
As we look ahead, it’s humbling. We’re small in the grand scheme of things—but we are invited into something much bigger than ourselves. We’re getting a front-row seat to what happens when we let go, trust God, and allow Him to work in and through us.
In 2026, we are on track to:
- Train the next generation of horsemen and leaders
- Bring in hundreds of disabled veterans to stand with us in this fight
- Build additional outposts in new communities
- Walk more horses through their own parallel journey to freedom—placing them on ranches where they can roam, work, and belong
- Expand our directory of healing services, our outdoor adventures – and the community service work and army that we are building up.
As each person experiences themself and others in a new way – we continue to transform culture and become the outreach for people who are desperate for real freedom and the life that was purchased for us at the ultimate cost. This work is a response to a war happening right here in our backyard—the inner war that every one of us fights at some level.
We would not be here without a core group of supporters who stood with us financially—some giving $10 a month, others giving generously in ways that sustained this mission through the year. You know who you are. May God continue to bless you and multiply your generosity. If you feel called to join this crew, we’ve made simple ways to do so available. (Donate)
We’ll close with this.
From the beginning, we’ve seen this mission as riding into enemy territory to rescue prisoners of war. And when we reach them, we tell them the truth: the war has already been won. When the greatest man who ever walked this earth hung on that cross and said, “It is finished,” He meant it. For freedom, we have been set free. That’s the real Jesus.
This gift is for all. It’s not about rules or religion—it’s about claiming what’s already been given. Laying down our lives. Living free. And telling others how deeply they are loved.
We don’t have to be fixed to belong.
The Kingdom isn’t someday—it’s here. Now. In us.
When honest people walk together like that, we create a refuge strong enough to carry each other through anything.
That’s what free men and women do.
That’s what it means to be Broken Arrow Wranglers.
